The past Saturday (27/11 ) was held in the Amphitheater General Roca City, the Arts Festival "for non-violence" organized by the Women of Multisectoral Fiske Menuco in commemoration International Day Against Violence Against Women.
"We chose art and music to demonstrate for rights violence," said Bethlehem Spinetta at the beginning of the day.
The opening of the Festival was in charge of Bethlehem Spinetta, who recalled that: "November 25 is a day of action against violence towards women and a date fight to raise our voices against the types of violence of which we victims by the mere fact of being women. " The
bands who participated in the activity were: Songolongo , Stone Word, José Luis Álvarez and Arabic dance groups and folk . Also during the development of the Festival, the artist Mary Langa painted a mural in commemoration of this date.
On the other hand, one could access Amphitheatre shows the sample of the photographer Emiliana Cantera, the best memories of XXV National Conference of Women held in Paraná, Entre Ríos.
The arts festival brought together a hundred men and women who join the different organizations who made this event so remember that November 25th is a day of action and to commemorate the death of the Mirabal sisters .
