WOMEN IN ROCK

In order to raise awareness about the problem of gender violence , from Municipal Council of women and specialized art teachers decided to create a new space for reflection where they can receive all the tributes.

The Women's Walk be in the main irrigation canal between Chacabuco Street and Mendoza on Gadano . There for several days (1 to 5 March) will be held 10 large sculptures from materials that endure over time (scrap). Also, 4 sculptures formed a scenario and the remaining 6 which will located along the canal.


The sculptures are created by artists of great international prestige and popularity: Rafael Roca, Eduardo Palacios, Daniel Dambrosio, Ricardo Coniglio, Gustavo Salina, Angel Perez, Josiana Beian, Florence Stecconi, Nadia Guthmann and Diego Gutierrez.

"The project objective is to create a promenade where merging the artistic and can issue a message awareness of non-violence on all sides and non-discrimination against women "said Sonia Almada, project coordinator.

The inaugural tour will be on March 18 , with local authorities and a range of cultural activities.
